Recently Taradji Law Offices represented a person who tripped and fell in a convenient store. The clerk in the Store had placed a box on the floor where it could not be easily seen. The client, tripped and fell and broke his ankle that necessitated surgical intervention and the placement of plates in his foot. Fortunately, he made a good recovery but, the process was traumatic. Originally, the insurance company for the store made an offer of settlement in the amount of $50,000.00. Attorney Nima Taradji advised the client not to accept the offer and to proceed with litigation. Once the personal injury lawsuit was filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County, the insurance company came back and requested a settlement conference with the judge.
