Food-borne illness linked to Taste
Seventeen cases of a food-borne illness are apparently linked to a booth at the Taste of Chicago, the first confirmed outbreak of illness associated with the event in 20 years, city health officials said today.
People who ate at the Pars Cove Persian Cuisine booth and who became ill should consult a doctor, according to a news release from the Chicago Department of Public Health. The release also asks those who may have been sickened to call the city’s 311 hot line or 312-744-5000 outside Chicago.
