Interview With The BBC About the Midterm Elections (In Farsi)
November 2, 2010
I was interviewed by Bahman Kalbassi who is the BBC correspondent based in New York. He wanted to, very briefly, know my views on the midterm elections which are ongoing today. This is in Farsi-roughly translated I said that the race between the Democrats and the Republicans here in Illinois is very close mainly because of two reasons: 1) that the Republicans have done everything they can to prevent or to slow down the progress of any of the Obama programs; and 2) the Democrats have failed to show some real backbone to get things done. So people are dissatisfied with the current state of things…
Very cool interview–and you look good doing it too! Congrats.
Good work and I absolutely hope you maintain the quality for a good long time.
